Although many people hire maids – and with good reason – allowing someone into your home to clean it, is still a big decision that shouldn’t be made without taking the necessary precautions.
Here are a few things to take into consideration when hiring a Boca Raton maid service:
- Whether they been screened and vetted properly
If you’re dealing with a reputable and experienced cleaning service, then they will undoubtedly have screened and vetted their team appropriately, which includes carrying out background checks and verifying references. If they haven’t (and it’s absolutely your right to ask), it would be best to look elsewhere.
- The kind of products they use
There can be any number of harsh chemicals in conventional cleaning products that are harmful to the environment, humans and even pets. A cleaning service that uses eco-friendly products to get homes spotlessly clean is a much better option than one who uses toxic solutions. If you value the health of everyone in your home, be sure to check this before hiring any maid service.
- How deep their cleaning goes
A good maid service will do much more than merely make your home look clean and tidy on the surface. They will clean thoroughly and pay attention to even the smallest of details, every time they visit; anything less than this simply isn’t acceptable. Take the time to check their customer reviews before entering into any kind of contract.
- Whether their reviews can be verified
Anyone can write a fake review for their own company on their website, but if you’re seeing reviews on Google that include specific details which can be verified, the likelihood of them being genuine is much higher.
- Is their pricing fair and transparent?
A maid service that you can trust should be able to provide you with a structured price list that leaves no hidden surprises, and which makes it clear what you are getting for your money. Be wary of prices that are much lower than their competitors, which may indicate that their employees aren’t being paid appropriately, or that their services are inferior. Fair pricing is what you’re looking for: not exceptionally high, and definitely not exceptionally low. Remember that honest and fair services deserve to be adequately recompensed, and if you consistently look for the lowest price company, you’re likely to receive sub-standard quality, every time.
- Can they be hired for recurring services?
While having your home deeply cleaned once every month is a great investment, nothing beats the consistently clean look and feel of a home that a recurring service provides. Be sure to check whether the cleaning service in Boca Raton, Fl can visit your home on a regular basis, and if so, what their pricing structure is for this service.
Hiring a maid to clean and declutter your home on a regular basis is a big decision, but with a few precautions and careful consideration, you should be able to find one that ticks all the boxes with ease; giving you the confidence to allow them to carry out their work, even when you’re not at home.
